POTTERY. Greek Southern Italian Colonies. c. 4th-3rd Cent. BCE. (125 mm tall x 130 mm wide). An Oinochoe with flat foot, wide body, squat neck and tapered lip. Extending from the lip, a short handle reaches to the top of the body of the pitcher. The piece is decorated with an ivy pattern, under a border at the neck of vertical lines on the body of the vessel. Single lines separate the two sections. Handle reattached. Some wear to painted surfaces and some light touch up to paint at reattachment points. Website shipping rates do not apply.
