POTTERY. Cyprus. Bichrome ware. c. 750-600 BCE. (240 mm tall x 150 mm wide). A large, spouted pitcher in Bichrome ware style. A squat tapered flat foot extends into a wide, oval shaped body. A single spout extends from the top of the body. A large, wide neck extends from the body. A single handle extends on the top of the neck. Over the piece, bichrome paintings of linear and a single large arch like pattern at the top of the body decorate the piece on the body, neck, spout and handle of the vessel. End of spout is missing. Spout and handle appear to have been expertly reattached. Website shipping rates do not apply.
