POTTERY. Greek Southern Italian Colonies. c. 4th-3rd Cent. BCE. (83 mm tall x 45 mm wide). A tear shaped olpe with no foot, wide flat lip and small handle that extends from the lip to the extremely tapered neck of the body. The vessel is decorated with black glaze and vertical lines separating sections of the decoration. Towards the front of the piece, white dots are painted on in vertical rows down the body. Intact. Some wear to painted surfaces. Website shipping rates do not apply.
