Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Britannia seated left on rock outcropping, shield at side, holding olive branch in extended right hand, cradling trident in left arm; SOHO below shield; to left, ship sailing right on horizon. Peck 1117; SCBC 3777. Gilding worn in areas, marks and dings, hairlines. VF.

As per Peck: “These proofs are relatively too numerous to be early strikings. They appear to have been struck from a pair of specially prepared current dies fairly early in the late Soho period...” (Peck, 303).
