EGYPT, Alexandria. Tranquillina. Augusta, AD 241-244. Potin Tetradrachm (22mm, 13.18 g, 11h). Dated RY 6 of Gordian III (AD 242/3). Draped bust right, wearing stephane / Bust of Nilus left, crowned with taenia and lotus buds, drapery on right shoulder; behind, cornucopia; L Ϛ (date) in left field. Köln –; Dattari –; K&G 73.25 var. (Nilus right); RPC VII.2 3864.2 (this coin); Emmett 3454.6 (R5). Green and brown patina, light porosity, a few cleaning marks. VF. Extremely rare, only two known to RPC including this coin.
