Northern France, Paris. Circa AD 1440. Leaf (3.54”x4.57”). Medieval Book of Hours. Illuminated leaf containing prayers of blessing. With attractive floral decorations and illumination. From a prayer book worthy of someone of some means for the time. Gold, red, blue, green, and white illumination. Ink nicely intact. Slight browning and tiny tears at edge. Faint spacing markings visible. Old price and code penciled in at lower margin. Good VF.
