Crowned facing bust; rose to left, XII (mark of value) to right / Coat-of-arms over long cross fourchée. North 1937; SCBC 2482. Toned, defaces with X across bust, graffiti “RC” on reverse and in right obverse field. VF.

It is tempting to read the graffiti on this shilling as anti-Protestant propaganda, with the RC representing Roman Catholic.
