Standing facing figures of Saint Demetrius, holding sword set on ground to left, and John, wearing crown and loros, holding labarum between them / Crowned facing figures of Alexius and Irene, each wearing loros and holding long patriarchal cross between them. DOC 37; SB –. Tan earthen surfaces, porosity, cleaning scratches. Good Fine. Very rare and interesting coronation issue struck on the occasion of John’s elevation.
