Celticized head right / Eagle facing with wings spread, head right, clutching eaglet and serpent in claw; pentagram above, cross with pellets below below. Depeyrot, NC V, 25; D&T 2582; CCCBM III 128-39. Green-brown patina. Near VF. Found in West Hertsfordshire, October 2008. Rare UK find of a Gaulish coin. |
