Very Rare Pompey Denarius
Cnaeus Pompeius Magnus (Pompey the Great). 46-45 BC. AR Denarius (20mm, 3.49 g, 3h). Corduba mint. Bare head of Pompey the Great right / Corduba, turreted, standing right among pile of arms, holding sceptre and welcoming Pompeian soldier who disembarked from stern of ship to right.
