Domitian, with Domitia. AD 81-96. Æ Diassarion (19.80 g, 12h). Mopsouestia-Mopsus mint. Dated CY 162 (AD 94/5). AUTOKRATOR KAICAR DOMITIANOC GERM, laureate head of Domitian left / DOM[ITIA] CEBACTH MOYEATWN ETO BXR (date), draped bust of Domitia right, wearing hair in elaborate coiffure with plait down back. RPC II 1743 (same obv. die); SNG France -; SNG Levante 1331 (same obv. die). Good VF, black-green patina with lighter green overtones. A far better specimen than the RPC illustration of the BM coin.
