KINGS of LYDIA. Kroisos. Circa 561-546 BC. AR Stater – Double Siglos (10.51 g). Sardes mint. Prototype issue. Confronted foreparts of lion right and bull left / Two incuse square punches of unequal size. Berk 18 (but one same rev. punch as Berk 19), otherwise unpublished. Near EF, toned, light porosity. Very rare prototype issue.
