KINGS of MACEDON. Philip V. 221-179 BC. AR Tetradrachm (31mm, 17.12 g, 3h). Pella or Amphipolis mint. Struck circa 211-197 BC. Helmeted head of the hero Perseus left, harpa over shoulder, in boss of a Macedonian shield / Club within oak wreath; D to right. Mamroth, Philip -; Reinach pl. XVI, 8-10 var. (same obv. die, no D, as Philip VI); Boehringer, Chron. pl. 8, 9 var. (same obv. die, no D). Good VF, toned, hairline flan crack. Unpublished with D control mark.

This type used to be attributed to Philip VI Andriskos, but Boehringer has conclusively reattributed it to the reign of Philip V.
