M AVREL ANTONINVS PIVS AVG GERM, laureate, draped, and cuirassed young bust right, seen from behind / P M TR P XVIII IMP III COS IIII P P, S C in exergue, Caracalla, laureate and in military outfit, standing left, right foot on crocodile, extending right hand to Isis advancing right and holding sistrum and grain ears in extended hands, and holding reverted spear in left hand. RIC IV 544; Banti 70; BMCRE 286; Cohen 334. Near EF, dark green patina, minor roughness in fields. A very rare, historical type. ($2000)
