IMP PHILIPPVS AVG, radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / SAECVLARES AVGG, she-wolf standing left, suckling the twins (Romulus and Remus); II in exergue. RIC IV 15; Hunter 46; RSC 178. Good VF, a tiny spot of horn on obverse near edge.

Struck in commemoration of the 1000th anniversary of Rome's founding.
