Laureate head of Janus; angular features, deep neck trunication; pellet below / Jupiter in quadriga right, driven by Victory, holding thunderbolt and sceptre; legend incuse on raised tablet below. Crawford 31/1 var. (no pellet); cf. Sydenham 64c; RSC 23 var. (no pellet). Good VF, lightly toned. Rare variety with pellet, unpublished with ROMA incuse.
