CILICIA, Aegeae. Hadrian. AD 117-138. AR Tridrachm (26.5mm, 9.24 g, 12h). Dated CY 164 (AD 117/8). Laureate bust right, slight drapery / Athena standing left, holding phiale and grounded shield; at feet to left, goat kneeling left, head right; spear to right; ЄTOYC ΔΞP (date) in legend. Prieur 714 = SNG Levante 1715; SNG BN 2327; RPC III 3336/9 (this coin cited). Toned, a couple spots of verdigris, flan and metal flaws. Near VF. Very rare, only four known to Prieur, and six on CoinArchives, including this coin.
