IMP GALLIENVS P F AVG [COS VI], radiate bust left in consular robe, holding eagle-tipped sceptre / PIETAS AVG, Pietas standing facing, raising both hands; altar at feet, to left; P in exergue. MIR 36, 1277q (same obv. die as illustration); RIC V (sole reign) 505 var. (bust type); Cunetio –. VF, brown surfaces, traces of silver, minor green deposits on reverse. Extremely rare, only one piece noted by MIR (in the BM).
