Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. AR Denarius (20mm, 3.76 g, 6h). Uncertain Spanish mint (Colonia Patricia?). Struck 18 BC. Bare head right / Triumphal arch of Augustus: central arch surmounted by a facing quadriga; side arches, on each of which is a standing figure. RIC I 136; RSC 83 var. (obv. legend). VF, toned, areas of flat strike, bankers’ marks on obverse, small flan flaw and deposit on reverse. Rare.
