Lead spindle whorl with Runic inscription. Anglo-Saxon, 5th-8th centuries AD. Cast spindle whorl with ornate decoration. One one side is an untranslated Runic inscription, possibly a personal name, on the opposite a series of pellets-in-annulets (24mm, 17.34g). Intact.
