LAKONIA, Lakedaimon (Sparta). Circa 48-35 BC. Æ Tetrachalkon (19mm, 4.31 g, 7h). Diademed and draped bust of Lakedaimon right / Eagle standing right; monograms to lower left and right. Grunauer Group XVI, Series 6, 69.1 (V47/R68 – this coin, illustrated); BCD Peloponnesos 899.2; HGC 5, 630. Fine, red-brown surfaces, some roughness.
