Steatite scarab. Egypt, New Kingdom, 1550-1077 BC. On face, two uraei flanking ra carried by a scarab; two pillars flank the scarab, with nebew (“gold”) below. The whole can be taken to read “may the eternal gold sun be reborn for the pharaohs” (18x13mm). Pierced.
