LUCANIA, Metapontion. Circa 330-290 BC. AR Nomos (20.5mm, 7.80 g, 10h). Head of Demeter right, wearing grain ear wreath and triple-pendent earring / Barley ear, leaf to right; ΛY to lower left; above leaf, Nike standing left. Johnston Class C, 9.1 (same dies); HN Italy 1591. VF, lightly toned, a few scratches and die wear on obverse, graffito ‘EO(koppa)PATO’ and minor flan flaws on reverse.
