SPAIN. 19th century. Scale and weights. Balance scale with iron beam and brass weighing trays, held in rectangular, leather-covered box with lid decorated with a central floral motif. Recesses in case hold brass 1 onza, ½ onza, 5 duros, 4 duros, and 2 duros weights (the 1 duros is missing). A single clasp secures the case. Dimensions of case: 15.1 x 7.0 x 2.5cm. Hole at bottom of case, some light stains in interior.
