FANTASY PIECES. Group of four (4) Cast Æ and PB Aes Grave. Lot includes the following: imitation of an Aes Grave Quatrunx of Hatria in Picenum (cf. HN Italy 13), and three fantasies employing the known Roman imperial reverse type of the sow suckling piglets (see RIC III 629) and provincial-style obverses – two with helmeted male bust right and female bust left, vis-à-vis, and one with radiate bust of Apollo right. As made, all with patina.
