Egypt. Circa 1800-1500 BC. Steatite scarab in a bronze mount (32x26x21mm). Base with hieroglyphic designs probably representing a name. Enclosed in mount with four arms extending over back and leading to loop for suspension. Loop and one arm broken off and reattached, light scrape on mount.
