Moneyer issues of Imperatorial Rome. L. Papius Celsus. 45 BC. AR Sestertius (10mm, 0.64 g, 5h). Rome mint. Head of Mercury right, wearing winged petasus; winged caduceus behind; CELSVS downwards to right / Lyre. Crawford 472/4b; CRI 85; Sydenham 967; Kestner 3654; BMCRR Rome 4028; Papia 5. Good VF, darkly toned, struck slightly off center. Extremely rare, only three examples in Coin Archives, all inferior.
