KINGS of PAEONIA. Audoleon. Circa 315/0-286 BC. AR Drachm (14mm, 2.91 g, 6h). Astibos or Damastion mint. Head of Athena facing slightly left, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet and necklace / AYΔΩΛEO-ONTOΣ (sic), horse walking right; monogram below. AMNG III/2, 7 var. (spelling of name); NRBM Paeonia 92–3 (same dies); Šeldarov 774–5 var. (same); SNG ANS 1057 var. (same); Weber 2243 (this coin). EF, lovely old cabinet toning, slight die shift and a few scratches under tone on reverse. Rare.
