THESSALY, Pherai. Late 4th century BC. AR Obol (9mm, 0.53 g, 3h). Head on Ennodia right, wearing earring and necklace; lit torch before / ΦEPA[I-ΩN], head of dog (a mastiff?) right. BCD Thessaly II 693 (hammer of $9500). Near VF, toned, light porosity, reverse die break. Extremely rare - the third known example of this charming type.
