THESSALY, Atrax. Mid 4th century BC. AR Obol (12mm, 0.59 g, 12h). Euei-, magistrate. Bust of the nymph Bura facing slightly left, wearing diaphanous drapery; EY[EI] upward to right / ATPA-ΓI-ΩN, horse standing right. Pour Denyse p. 47, 1 and pl. 6, 1 = BCD Thessaly II 55 (hammer of $1700); BCD Thessaly I 1029 (hammer of CHF 5500); CNG 87, lot 408 (hammer of $1700); CNG E-263, lot 45 (hammer of $575). Near VF, lightly toned. Perhaps the fifth known, all appearing to be from the same dies, and lacking the usual porosity.
