AD 54-68. Æ Sestertius (35mm, 27.10 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck circa AD 64. NERO CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG GERM P M TR P IMP P P, laureate head right, with aegis at point of bust / CONG I DAT POP, Nero seated right on curule chair on raised daïs; to right, official seated right, drawing tessera from container and handing it to figure climbing steps, extending hand to receive it; child standing behind figure; Minerva and Liberalitas standing facing on daïs in background; S C in exergue. RIC I 155; WCN 87. Good VF, attractive yellow-brown patina. Well centered with an impressive portrait.
