IMP CAES M ANT GORDIANVS AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust left, seen from the front / P M TR P II COS P P, Gordian on horseback left, raising right arm and holding transverse sceptre in his left hand. RIC IV -; RSC -. Not listed in the major references. VF, flat strike. ($750)

This coin would be RIC IV 174 except that it is bust left. Dr. Bland records four other specimens, all five having been struck from the same dies.
