Diva Faustina Senior. Died AD 140/1. Æ Medaillion (37mm, 39.55 g, 11h). Rome mint. Struck under Antoninus Pius, circa AD 141-146. DIVA AVG FAVSTINA, veiled and draped bust right / Vulcanus seated right in his workshop, presenting thunderbolt to Minerva, standing left, holding shield. Gnecchi II 18; Banti 125. VF, dark green, almost black, patina, some encrustation and roughness. Very rare.
