Gordian II. AD 238. Æ Sestertius (30mm, 23.63 g, 12h). Rome mint. Struck March-April AD 238. IMP CAES M ANT GORDIANVS AFR AVG, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / ROMAE AETERNAE, Roma seated left on round shield; holding crowning Victory and scepter; SC in exergue. RIC IV 5; Banti 4. Good VF, attractive brown patina. Rare.
