Hadrian. 117-138 AD. Æ Sestertius (33mm, 26.41 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck AD 121-122. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Minerva standing left, dropping incense on candelabrum and holding spear; against her, shield with serpent climbing on it. RIC II 611b. VF, brown patina, some minor roughness, reverse strike a bit soft. Pleasing portrait.
