Veiled and diademed bust of Concordia right; star to lower right / Two statues of Venus Cloacina on platform with balustrade of the shrine of Venus Cloacina. Crawford 494/42b; CRI 188a; Sydenham 1093a; Mussidia 6. Near EF, attractively toned. Well centered and struck for issue.

The association of the epithet Cloacina with Venus originates from the alleged discovery of one of her statues in the cloacae, the roman sewers, and dedicated as the Cloacina at a comitium by T. Tatius, king of the Sabines.
