THESSALY, Olea. 5th-4th centuries BC. Æ 12mm (1.46 g, 3h). Uncertain magistrate. Grain ear within partially opened husk; stem remaining / Ram standing right [on double groundline]; [...]PA[...] around; all within circular incuse. Cf. Franke, Erste pp. 1-2 = Triton VIII, lot 285; cf. CNG 78, lot 466; Rogers -; SNG Copenhagen -; cf. Gorny & Mosch 147, lot 1404. Fine, green patina with patches of red and brown, light cleaning marks. Extremely rare, the fourth known coin of Olea in any metal.
