Very Rare Military Bust
Carausius. Romano-British Emperor, AD 286-293. Antoninianus (22mm, 4.25 g, 6h). Londinium (London) mint. Struck AD 288-289. Helmeted, draped, and cuirassed bust left, holding shield in left hand and spear in right hand / Carausius riding left, raising hand and holding scepter; bound captive at feet to left; ML. RIC V 11. Good VF, brown patina, some roughness in areas. Very rare.
