Laureate head of Augustus left, globe at point of bust; behind, Victory, touching fillet of laurel wreath and holding cornucopia / Legend around large S • C. RIC I 434. VF, mottled red-brown and dark green patina, scratch from jaw to hair, minor roughness. Rare.


The weight of this example is within the range of an As. However, no As is recorded in the major references with the globe at the point of the bust.
