ATTICA, Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.82 g, 12h). New Style coinage. Dorothe-, Dioph-, and Diony-, magistrates. Struck 132/1 BC. Helmeted head of Athena right / Owl standing right, head facing, on amphora; magistrates’ names in fields; to right, forepart of lion right; K on amphora, ΣΦ below; all within wreath. Cf. Thompson 389/390a-b (for obv. die/same 3rd magistrate and month). Near EF, iridescent toning.
