ARKADIA, Kleitor. Circa 300-270/60 BC. AR Triobol (14mm, 2.71 g, 8h). Radiate head of Helios facing, drapery around neck / KΛH, bull butting right; above head, centaur galloping right, [hurling branch]. BCD Peloponnesos 1431 (same dies); SNG Copenhagen 224; BMC 4-5. EF, toned, slight die shift on reverse. Rare.

This later issue of coinage at Kleitor is also an issue for local use, and, unlike her issues as part of the Arkadian Confederacy, exhibit types that had local significance. As with the previous lot, these local issues with the radiate head of Helios are quite rare.
