QEOTOKE BOHQEI in cruciform monogram; [T]w Cw D(OY) Lw in quarters / [...]NwC[...]/ A’ CPA’S T/(OY)PMA’ Tw/[...] ANATO/[....] in five lines. Cf. BLS I 2662 (similar seal); DOCBS -; Seyrig -; Vatican -; Orghidan -; Jordanov -. Good VF, tan patina, light scrape in center of reverse.

The name on this seal is incomplete, but its owner served as tourmarches (a military commander in charge of a detachment, or tourma) in Anatolia. Tourmarchai also possessed fiscal and judicial authority in their jurisdictions.
