ROMAN. Imperial. Countermarked Æ of 1st century AD. Includes: P R in rectangular countermark, for
Popvlvs Romanvs, on an As of Agrippa. Martini 2.3.2.B.5 // DV in rectangular countermark, for
Dvpondivs, on a Dupondius of Claudius (possibly barbarous). Martini 2.3.2.B // M•C(?) in rectangular countermark on obverse and IMP monogram in rectangular countermark on reverse of a provincial Æ of Augustus from Pergamum. The first apparently unpublished, the second, Martini 2.3.1.C. Fair or better condition, patinas, some smoothing. LOT SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS. Three (3) coins in lot.
