Septimius Severus. AD 193-211. Fourrée Aureus Core (20mm, 2.47 g). Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Facing draped bust of Julia Domna; Caracalla on left facing right, laureate and draped; Geta on right facing left, bare-headed and draped. Cf. RIC IV 181c; cf. BMCRE 380. Fine, toned and porous. Rare and interesting. This was probably gilt at one time.
