EGYPT, Alexandria. Aurelian. AD 270-275. Potin Tetradrachm (20mm, 9.23 g, 12h). Dated RY 5 (AD 273/4). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Eagle standing right, head left, with wreath in beak, wings gathered; L Є (date) across field. Köln –; Dattari (Savio) 10596; K&G –; RPC X Online 75712.3 = Emmett 3930.5 (this coin – R5). Red-brown patina, light roughness, surface crack. Good VF. Extremely rare, three known to RPC including this coin.
