YORK (Restored). Richard III. 1483-1485. AR Groat (25mm, 2.79 g, 4h). Type 3. York mint; im: sun & rose 2/–. Struck circa June 1484-22 August 1485. Crowned facing bust within tressure of arches; lis at lower cusps / Long cross pattée; triple pellets in quarters. Winstanley 17; MEG type 3; North 1681; SCBC 2159. Rich cabinet toning, small edge split and a few light marks. VF. Very rare York mint for Richard.
