Two diademed heads facing each another; long cross on base between / Fantastic bird right, head left, within counterclockwise ouroboros. Abramson 19-25 (this coin illustrated); SCBI 63 (BM), –; SCBI 69 (Abramson), –; MEC 8 Series Jb, 359-363 var. (direction of ouroboros); North 141 var. (same); SCBC 802C. Toned, slight porosity, mark. VF. Very rare, much more so than the usual clockwise ouroboros. The first of this sub-variety we have seen.
