IMP CAES P HELV PERTINAX AVG, laureate head right / VOT DECEN TR P COS II, S C across field, Pertinax, veiled and togate, standing left, holding volumen in left hand and sacrificing out of patera in right over lighted tripod to left. RIC IV 24; Lempereur Type 11, 799a (D287/R409 – this coin); Banti 22; BMCRE 44. Dark green patina, minor smoothing in fields. Good VF. Bold portrait.
