SELEUKID EMPIRE. Antiochos I Soter. 281-261 BC. AR Tetradrachm (27mm, 17.17 g, 5h). Seleukeia on the Tigris mint. Diademed head right / BAΣIΛEΩΣ ANTIOXOY, Apollo, nude but for drapery around waist, testing arrow in extended right hand, and placing left hand on grounded bow, seated left on omphalos; monograms to outer left and outer right. SC 379.3c; ESM 155; HGC 9, 128g; CSE I 852 (this coin). Attractive collection tone, small scratch on obverse. Good VF.
