Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with a griffin on the bowl / Grape bunch on vine tendril with leaves at sides; ΣOΛEΩN to left, HP monogram to lower right. Casabonne Type 5; SNG BN –; SNG Levante –; SNG von Aulock –; SNG Copenhagen –; BMC –; CNG 93, lot 465 = Triton XV, lot 1255 (same dies). Minor die wear on obverse, hairlines on reverse. EF. Very rare.
